Jamaah Muslimin Appreciates Zakir Naik Da’wah in Indonesia

 

Jakarta, 10 Rajab 1438/7 April 2017 (MINA) – Imam of Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah)Yakhsyallah Mansur said he appreciated the da’wah of Dr. Zakir Abdul Karim Naik in several cities in Indonesia from March 31 to 9 April 2017.

According to him, Islam is promoting ways of preaching through dialogue with other faiths.  That is the way taken by the Prophet Muhammad in preaching to convey the message of Islam to Christians and Jews.

“One of the Rasulullah shalallahu alaihi wasalam da’wah methods also used with dialogue as Dr Zakir Naik did,”  Imaam Yakhsyallah told MINA in Jakarta, Wednesday (4/4).

Islam highly appreciate the opinions and beliefs of others. “There is no compulsion in Islam. Islam respects a person’s belief, “he continued.

“Islam as a religion of mercy to all the world have open dialogue with anyone from any religion to find the real truth that comes from Allah,” he added.

Imam expressed the hope  for the emergence of a new generation with a dakwah ability similar to Zakir Naik in conveying the values of Islam.

Imaam pray for Zakir Naik to be given health and ease in conveying Islam. “We wish Dr. Zakir Naik is always healthy and under the protection of Allah, ” added..

In the program of Visit Indonesia, Zakir Naik will give a series of lectures in Bandung, Yogyakarta, Gontor, Bekasi, and Makassar.

Zakir Naik, who was born in Mumbai, India, October 18, 1965,  in addition to a preacher, is also an author of the books on Islam and comparative religion.

He founded of the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF),  a nonprofit organization that owns  broadcast TV channels Free Peace TV from Mumbai, India.

Zakir Naik was ranked 85 out of 100 Indian Most Inflluential Muslims in 2009. He has also received the highest award from the government of Saudi Arabia, King Faisal International Prize in 2015, which is a tribute to the works of outstanding individuals and institutions in five categories namely the da’wah of Islam, Islamic studies, Arabic language and literature, medicine and science.
