Anies then quoted the statement of the first Indonesian President, Ir. Soekarno where as long as the Palestinians have not been independent, Indonesia has always been at the forefront of removing occupation from the earth.
“I convey my appreciation for this second development. The presence of Indonesia is very important for the Palestinian. Why, because in distance, we have a distance of kilometers. We are the easternmost place, but we are the founders of the establishment of this hospital, “he said.
Anies entrusted the best mandate to MER-C members to maintain the noble values of Indonesian culture. He hopes MER-C can continue to report the development of the construction of the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza to the people of Indonesia.
Indonesian Hospital is a work of Indonesian that fully built from the donations of Indonesian. It located in Bayt Lahiya, around 2.5 km from the Israeli border, It is the main reference center for people in the northern Gaza Strip.
Standing on waqf land covering an area of 1.6 hectares, the Indonesian Hospital building consists of 2 floors and 1 basement floor with a capacity of 100 beds, 4 operating rooms, 10 bed ICU, Radiology Room, Laboratory, Blood Bank, IGD equipped with the best medical equipment, but now, it is overwhelmed to accommodate patients who come for treatment.
