Depok, MINA – Secretary General of Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) Imam Addaruquthni said the entourage of As-Salamu Alayka Ayyuhan An-Nabiyy Foundation from Saudi Arabia inspected the site of building “Prophet Muhammad’s Museum” in Depok, West Java on Monday, November 4.

The group was led by Abdullah Nasir Al-Qarni as chairman of the foundation.

“Their arrival was welcomed by the Chairman of the DMI Jusuf Kalla and the deputy, Syafruddin, ” said Imam as quoted from Republika on Monday, November 4.

Imam explained the meeting to ascertain a number of things. First to ensure the construction of Prophet Muhammad’s Museum. Second, the construction of buildings to hold conferences and meetings. And finally, namely the construction of the Hajj ritual facility.

In the next month, continued Imam, DMI must complete a number of preparations. Among other things, the preparation of land relating to aspects of legality and also the proposal for construction of museum. “And also complete the feasibility study. After that, the results will be brought to Saudi,” he said.

According to Imam, the administration of the land for the construction of the museum has been completed because all matters related to administration have been complete. For funding, he said that it was funded entirely by As-Salamu Alayka Ayyuhan An-Nabiyy Foundation. (T/Sj/P2)
