Israeli Forces Destroy Palestinian Houses in Hebron

Hebron, MINA – Israeli authorities on Saturday, July 13 informed Palestinians from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, a notice related to their intention to destroy his house for not having a construction permit, according to local sources.

Mohammad Awad, an anti-Israeli settlement activist, told WAFA, Israeli army handed over a notice to Ali Mohammad Alami that his house, which was currently under construction, would soon be demolished.

In recent years, Israeli occupation authorities destroyed hundreds of homes in occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem on the grounds that there was no Israeli construction permit, which almost impossible to obtain for Palestinians under current Israeli policy.

Meanwhile, elsewhere reported, Israeli Army shot a 10-year-old Palestinian boy, Abdul Rahman Yasser Shteiwi, from close range with live ammunition, in protest against expansion of settlements in the city of Kafr Qaddum, on the north West Bank. (T/Sj/R04)
