France Condemns Houthis’ Ballistic Missile Fired Towards Riyadh

The Houthi movement unveiled the Burkan 2 missile.

Paris, MINA – France on Wednesday condemned the ballistic missile fired by Yemen’s Houthi militias towards the Saudi capital of Riyadh that was intercepted by the Saudi air defense forces.

This missile attack represents a new aggression on Saudi Arabia’s security, KUNA reported, quoting France’s foreign ministry in a statement.

The statement stressed France’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia towards any threats posed to the Kingdom.

It underlined the need of the resumption of the UN-brokered peace talks among the Yemeni parties without conditions.

The political solution is the only way for restoring peace and security as well as ending the catastrophic humanitarian situation in that Arab country, it pointed out.
