Al Quds, 3 Jumadil Akhir 1436/23 March 2015 (MINA) – Israeli municipal employees escorted by policemen on Sunday (22/3) delivered administrative demolition orders against Palestinian homes in Ein Loza neighborhood of Silwan district, east Jerusalem.

The Wadi Hilweh information center said that a crew of Israeli municipal employees under police protection entered Ein Loza neighborhood and embarked on photographing its streets and some homes, and putting up demolition notices, Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic New Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The center added that five demolition notices were put up on walls of five homes, one of them under construction, noting that the unfinished house had been built four years ago and its owner stopped its construction because of Israeli orders.

Three of the homes which received demolition threats have been inhabited by Palestinian families since their construction two years ago.

The Israeli occupation authority in occupied Jerusalem still prevents the Palestinian residents of Silwan from getting construction permits and issues dozens of demolition orders against their homes every year as part of its plan to Judaize the entire holy city. (T/P006/R03)
