Bogor Companies Establish Business Cooperation in Russia

Bogor Regency business actors establish and sign cooperation agreements with partners in Russia (1/11/2019)

Moscow, MINA – Three companies from Bogor Regency signed four cooperation agreements or MoUs with partners in Russia.

Products offered and sought by partners in Russia include coconut soy sauce, ready-to-drink ginger drinks, coconut chips, vegetable chips, body lotion, soap, and household appliances. The potential value of cooperation reaches $768,000 or around Rp.11 billion.

The Bogor Regency business mission visit to Russia was led by Iwan Setiawan, Deputy Regent of Bogor and his staff.

Participating in the trade mission were Aris Darujo from PT Indobriket Bumi Hijau, Eriklex Donald Sahusilawane from PT Bahana Surya Madani, and Nursyamsu Mahyuddin from CV Nusantara Agri. Partners established in Russia are LLC Optocomplex, Snab Center, Reale, and Golden Gate.

Iwan hopes that the continuation of the signing of this MoU of business cooperation can run well and smoothly.

“Opportunities for business cooperation with Russia are open and many of our MSME products in demand of Russia, besides processed products, as well as agricultural products,” said Iwan.

He also considered Russian businessmen to be very responsive and Iwan appreciated the good support from the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow in facilitating Bogor Regency business mission.

In a meeting facilitated by the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow on Friday, November 1, business actors in Bogor and Russia Regency discussed trade cooperation.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia for the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, M. Wahid Supriyadi, and the Indonesian Trade Attache for the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow, Farid Amir.

Ambassador Wahid also appreciated the Bogor Regency business mission visit to Russia and hoped that such promotions and trade missions could be carried out consistently and continuously to achieve more optimal results. Indonesia and Russia have great potential in the trade sector.

“In addition to the Indonesian Festival which results are increasingly felt, the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow also assisted regional trade missions such as those carried out by Bogor Regency Government,” said the former Indonesian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. (T/Sj/P2)
