People’s Consultative Assembly Support Indonesian Islamic Young Leader Summit

Jakarta, MINA – Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR), Hidayat Nur Wahid supports the 2019 Indonesia Islamic Young Leader Summit on November 22-26, 2019. It was conveyed when meeting with the Indonesian Youth Organizational Islamic Cooperation (OIC) entourage chaired by Syafii Efendi at the Senayan parliamentary complex, Jakarta on Thursday, November 7.

Hidayat said that he supported the activities of organizations that have national and international networks, especially those discussed to provide the good benefit of Muslims and he willing to be the keynote speaker at the event.

“The issues discussed are very much related to Muslims, including issues of public health, youth issues, health issues, political, and economic issues. I support the big event to run successfully, “said Hidayat, who is also a Doctoral graduate of Medina, as a press statement received by MINA.

Meanwhile, in the same place, Syafii Efendi explained the OIC Youth Indonesia event which will begin on 22 November. It will also be held for the first time in Indonesia. The event will be attended by 1,000 invitees from millennials who are representatives from the regions.

“In the simulation session later, delegates to be invited from domestic and foreign originating from 57 OIC countries, and countries that have been confirmed to be present on November 22 already numbered dozens of countries,” Effendi explained.

During the meeting, Efendi was accompanied by several central management and Secretary-General of OIC Youth Indonesia, Astrid Nadia Rizkita and Deputy Secretary-General Nabila Harahap.
