Participants Enthusiastically Attend Palestinian Seminar in Ternate

Ternate, MINA – The National Seminar with the theme “Ukhuwah Islamiyah Solution to the Liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine Independence” was organized by Aqsa Working Group (AWG) and Fastabiqul Khairat Foundation at the Vellya Hotel, Ternate, North Maluku on Saturday, November 2 was welcomed enthusiastically by the participants.

One of the participants from IAIN Sharia Faculty student, Sari (19) said that she was very enthusiastic about attending a seminar like that.

“I am 100 percent enthusiastic about participating in this national seminar. I really appreciate the program, because it concerns our solidarity as Muslims in fighting for Palestinian independence, “he said.

She hopes Indonesian people, especially all Muslims, can unite so that they care about Palestine and help the Palestinian state achieve its independence.

In addition, Zainuddin, a student of IAIN, Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da’wah said with this activity, according to him, it was good enough to encourage Muslim youth to be sympathetic to what is happening in Palestine.

“I hope this kind of activity is more open mind, eye, and our hearts, to what is happening there and moved to help even though not physically at least with prayer or material,” he said.

The seminar, which attended by hundreds of participants was part of series of 1441 H Tabligh Akbar events in Eastern Indonesia. After the seminar, an Al-Aqsa love parade was held, attended by hundreds of students from various schools in Ternate. (T/Sj/P2)
