MER-C – Bukalapak Work Together to Raise Funds for Indonesia Hospital in Gaza

Jakarta, MINA – Non Government Organization, Emergency Medical Rescue Committee (MER-C) collaborates with PT. Bukalapak to raise funds for the construction of the second Indonesia Hospital in Gaza.

The Collaboration between the Community Economic Partnership was signed by the Director of PT. Bukalapak.com Fajrin Rasyic and Chairman of the MER-C Presidium Dr. Sarbini Abdul Murad at MER-C Head Office, Senen, Central Jakarta, Friday.

“We want to strive for what MER-C aspires to be closer to reality. And Bukalapak will help through two things, “Fajrin said to MINA.

He explained, the assistance are; first, facilitaty. So the users of Bukalapak who want to make a donation to MER-C, there will be a feature (at Bukalapak) so that users can donate through Bukalapak and the funds will be given to MER-C.

“Secondly, we will also facilitate MER-C for merchandise (merchandise) through Bukalapak, later the benefits can be used to support MER-C’s vision,” he said.

He added this cooperation is valid for a period of three years in the hope that it can be sustainable, then it can monitor periodically every few times that allow it to be evaluated and if there were things that need to be followed up or need to be boosted again.

“Hopefully, this can continue and we will monitor. The hope is that more and more Bukalapak users who know MER-C, will be ontribute through donating or buying merchandise, so that we hope we can help MER-C to realize its ideals, “he added.

At the same time, Chairman of the MER-C Presidium Dr. Sarbini thanked Bukalapak for his help in raising funds for the construction of the Indonesia Hospital in Gaza.

“I represent the MER-C extended family to thank and appreciate Fajrin (Bukalapak) who has helped, so that the wider community knows that MER-C’s programs and activities that involve all parties so that the community can participate it,” he said.

“For the willingness of Bukalapak to provide space for us. This is something extraordinary, so we can spread this enthusiasm to the public that now we are building an Indonesia Hospital that requires substantial funds. “The hope is that the Indonesia Hospital in Gaza will be completed soon and can boast the people and nation of Indonesia,” he added (TL/Sj/P2)
