Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) Initiates One Home One Bachelor of Science of the Qur'an

Bogor, 20 Shawwal 1438/14 July 2017 , (MINA) – Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) as a forum for unity of Muslims has initiated the program of One Home One Bachelor of Science of Al-Quran and Tafsir in order to develop Islamic civilization.

Imaam Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) Yakhsyallah Mansur, said that the Qur’an-based education program is a top priority in producing ulama cadres and Muslim professionals who have positive and countless roles in advancing human civilization.

“The program aims to motivate parents to take serious care of Quran-based education for their children. The program starts at home by instilling Quranic knowledge as a top priority to be learned before any other science, “Imam Yakhsyallah told Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) at Pondok Pesantren Al-Fatah Cileungsi, Bogor, Friday 14/7).

According to him, the Qur’an is a holy book, a guide, and a reference to life as a source of knowledge, a source of truth, and a source of inspiration for scientific activities, both in education and teaching as well as scientific research and community service.

“Islamic studies including Quranic studies and tafsir should be the main concern of parents and future generations,” he said.

For that end, Imamul Muslimin Yakhsyallah Mansur expects the participation of the community and Muslims to support the program that has been running earlier this year.

Government agencies and private institutions, as well as philanthropists, also need to take concrete roles in creating nation cadres, both as candidates for ulama and professionals who implement the sciences of the Qur’an in every task and area of expertise..

The program encourages parents to prioritize their children to educate Quranic education early on. Since elementary school to high school is directed to schools and universities based on Al-Quran with deepening in the field tahfizh, recitations, khat, tafseer, qira’at science, and scientific work of the Qur’an.

In the college, Imam Yakhsyallah Mansur recommends that the best sons can go to college that specializes in studying Al-Quran such as the Shuffah Al-Qur’an Abdullah Bin Mas’ud (SQABM), the College of Qur’an Sciences (PTIQ) , Institute of Al-Qur’an Science (IIQ), University of Science Al-Quran (UNSIQ), High School Kulliyatul Qur’an (STKQ) Al-Hikam, and Ushuludin UIN / IAIN Faculty.

SQABM itself is a leading higher education institution based on Al-Qur’an and Sunnah with the utilization of information technology in the effort of upholding Islamic law that rahmatan lil ‘alamin and produce qualified Muslim scholars, knowledgeable, and has noble character..

SQABM just go operational permission from the Ministry of Religious Affairs as stated in the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education (DIRJEN PENDIS) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, No. 3373 of 2017 concerning the Al-Qur’an Shuffah Institution Permit Abdullah Bin Mas’ud (SQABM) issued in Jakarta on 16 June 2017.

SQABM whose campus is located in the Shuffah Hizbullah Pondok Pesantren and Madrasah Al-Fatah Negararatu, Natar, Lampung Selatan, has attracted students from abroad. At least 58 students from Turkey, Thailand and Malaysia will be studying the Qur’an in SQABM this upcoming academic year. (L/R04/RS5)
