Israeli Massive Troops Mobilize Around Al-Aqsa

Al-Quds, MINA – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday, carried out massive mobilization of their troops and patrolled around the Al-Aqsa Mosque, gates, streets and old town markets, following a clash that took place at Al-Aqsa last night.

It was reported that the lawyer of the detainee’s authority, Mohammed Mahmoud, said he had not received any news about the youths who were arrested last night and whether they would be taken to Israeli courts or released.

The Ramallah News reported that Israeli forces arrested and injured more than 20 worshipers during the attack in the area at the gate of Al-Rahmah and inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque overnight.

At the same time, settler groups carried out provocative attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque from Al-Magribi Gate, which made the situation in the mosque tense, amid calls from activists to go to the mosque and participate in prayer at the Al-Rahmah gate area .

The pilgrims demanded the opening of the Al-Rahmah gate and chapel in front of Islamic pilgrims and endowments. Israeli occupation closed the gate of Al-Rahmah in 2003 under the false pretenses.

Actually, Israel has an evil plan to support Jewish groups for the construction of Synagogue within Al-Aqsa complex, or near the Dome of the Rock dome. (T/Sj/P2)
