Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem), 5 Jumadil Awwal 1436/24 February 2015 (MINA)– Israeli forces detained two Palestinian teens after raiding their homes in the al-Thawri neighborhood of the Silwan town in East Jerusalem early Monday.

Lawyer of the Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association said that Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Jamil Ghaith, 14, and Muhammad Buseila, 16, from the al-Thawri neighborhood.

He added that Israeli forces also detained lawyer Rami al-Alami late Sunday and transferred him to the Russian compound for interrogation, Ma’an News Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Clashes erupted in the al-Issawiyya village and Silwan town of East Jerusalem late Sunday between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers as soldiers raided al-Issawiya and Silwan.

Witnesses told Ma’an that Israeli forces used stun grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets while youths responded with stones and Molotov cocktails.

Israeli forces fired stun grenades randomly at homes and vehicles; several youths were injured and treated on the spot. (T/P010/P3)
