Gaza City, 25 Ramadan 1435/23 July 2014 (MINA) – Palestinian resistance fighters have rained retaliatory rockets onto several areas in Israel, including Tel Aviv, as the regime intensifies its fatal assaults on the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to reports, the sound of warning sirens was heard in several cities and towns in Israel as Palestinians fired a barrage of rockets into Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Eshkol, Beer Ganim, Nitzan and Nitzanim on Tuesday.

Reports say several Israelis were injured when a rocket landed in a residential area in Tel Aviv, Press TV quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting Wednesday.

The Israeli military has confirmed that 27 soldiers have died since the beginning of the regime’s ground incursion into Gaza on July 17.

Hamas military wing al-Qassam Brigades, however, said on Monday that its fighters had killed over 40 Israeli soldiers since Tel Aviv started its attacks on the Gaza Strip some two weeks ago.

Top Hamas leader in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh has vowed that the besieged Palestinian territory will turn into “a graveyard for Israeli soldiers,” who have been committing crimes against Gazans over the past 15 days.

Latest reports say Israeli raids have killed nearly 600 Palestinians, with the fatalities being mostly women and children. Over 3,500 others have also sustained injuries in the Israeli raids. (T/E01/IR)
