Ramallah, 30 Sha’ban 1438/27 May 2017 (MINA) – Palestinian prisoner Naser Abu Sorour has affirmed that the hunger strikers in Israeli jails are very determined to continue their hunger battle despite their difficult health conditions and their exposure to maltreatment by jailers and doctors, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

“Despite all difficulties and bad health conditions, the prisoners enjoy high morale and are determined to continue their hunger strike until they obtain their demands or become martyrs,” Sorour told a visiting lawyer from the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs on Friday.

The prisoner noted the hunger-striking prisoners would not take vitamin supplements or water till the sunset adhan (call to prayer) every day during the holy month of Ramadan.
