Jakarta, 7 Ramadhan 1435/5 July 2014 (MINA) – The Ulema of Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah), Adzraie Abdul syukur asked Chinese muslims be patient facing the ban of fasting Ramadan by the government.
He considered it is a test of faith from Allah. “I am optimist that Chinese Muslims can perform fasting Ramadan although facing the ban from the goverment,” Azraie told in Jakarta, Friday (4/7).
The latest decision of Chinese government prohibiting their civil servants and office staffs from fasting during the holy Ramadan month.
The Ulema who has been visited the country said, the government should know that fasting does not bother their work and health.

“Ramadan is the month to increase discipline, honest, seriousness and health. I pray for Chinese Muslims may Allah Ta’ala always protect them, “He added.
Based on the news before, some government departments posted notification banning the fasting for their officials since last week.
The Commercial Bureau of Turfan said on its website on Monday (30/6), State civil servants and collage students are not be allowed to fast and carry out other religious atributes during Ramadan.
Other agencies in Qaraqash, Xinjiang District also stated, according to government’s instructions, we call upon all officials not fast to fast during Ramadan.”
