Campaign to Mark 100 Days Since US Capital Declaration over Jerusalem

Ramallah, MINA – A number of Palestinian activists around the world have launched a campaign titled “Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine,” to mark 100 days since the notorious US recognition of Occupied Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

In a statement issued by PIC, the campaign includes paintings, literary works, articles, videos and a variety of activities.

The organizers called on all believers in the justice of the Palestinian cause to actively participate in the campaign and its activities and to tweet on Friday via the hashtag # Jerusalem_The capital of Palestine.

Reported erlier, the United States is expected to move its embassy on May 14, which will coincide with the 70th anniversary of Israel proclaiming independence.

When Trump announced the move, administration officials said that it could take several years, citing logistical and security concerns.(R/R04/RE1)
