CALIPHATE SYSTEM HAS TO FOLLOW PROPHETIC TRAIL

Bogor, 22 Shawwal 1435/18 August 2014 (MINA) – Indonesian Ulema, Abu Wihdan Hidayatullah said that Caliphate system should follow prophetic trail (Khilafah ‘alaa minhaajin nubuwwah).

He affirmed that upholding leadership (caliphate) of Muslims became a key to implementing Allah’s law and realizing Islamic brotherhood. It is also a key to central strength and unity of Muslims.

“In upholding Khilafah (Caliphate) as manifestation of Muslims unity, we should refer to al-Quran and hadits,” Abu said in a panel discussion entitled “Khilafah and power, paying attention to phenomena of ISIS’ Khilafah” at At-Taqwa mosque , Cileungsi, Bogor, Sunday.

Abu Wihdan also asserted that Imaamul Muslimin Muhyiddin Hamidy who has been induct since 1976 replacing the late of Imam Wali al-Fattah is the leader of Muslims around the world.

“Consensus of ulemas have rebuilt Khilafah’ Ala Minhajin Nubuwah in Jakarta since 1953 . Wali Al-Fattah was appointed as Imaamul Muslimin that time , “said Abu Wihdan.

The Staff of Assembly of Da’wah Center of Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) said that Nubuwwah (Prophethood) era that initiated Islamic civilization reached its peak of glory in Prophet Muhammad PBUH along with his friends era.

Meanwhile Waliyul Imaam of Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) for Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi , Agus Priyono said that Islam is rahmatan lil ‘alamin  (a blessing for the whole universe and its contents). It was not restricted by territory.

According to Agus, enforcing Khilafah is an implementation and it is not a target. ‘The Caliph is leader for believers, “said Agus.

About phenomena of ISIS, Imaam Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah), Muhyiddin Hamidy urged Muslims to unite based on Allah and His Messenger teachings in facing Israeli crimes and its allies.

Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) suggested Muslims to keep patient and not to be provoked easily by news and information weakening Islamic brotherhood. They have to obey command from their leader.

Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) also called on leaders of Muslim countries and Muslims in general not to act outside of Syariah, Al-Quran and hadits in responding to problems and protecting the interests of the Muslims. (L/CR/Syt/E01)
