Cairo, 16 Shawal 1436/1 August 1436 (MINA) – The central boycott office of the Arab League said the League would host from 18 to 20 August the 89th conference on the Arab boycott of Israel.

Commissioner-general of the office Mohamed Subaih stated in press remarks on Thursday that the office would discuss with its regional representatives the mechanisms to activate the Arab boycott of Israel, including the measures to be taken against the companies that violate the rules related to the Arab commercial and tourist boycott of Israel.

Subaih affirmed that the boycott strategy is one of the means used by the League to express the Arab rejection of Israel’s practices and violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The conferees will refer a number of recommendations on this file to the next meeting of the Arab foreign ministers slated to take place next September. (T/P011/R03)
