Lebanon, 10 Rabi’ul Akhir 1437 / 20 January 2016 (MINA) – Arab Inter-parliamentary Union (AIPU) yesterday called for all parliamentary unions, including the International Parliament, to condemn the continuous Israeli crimes and field executions against Palestinians, Palsawa.com reported.

In addition, the AIPU stressed that the Israeli crimes and field execution of Palestinians mount to a clear violation of international law.

Meanwhile, the AIPU reiterated its support for the Palestinian people, who are now involved in a popular uprising in the face of the occupation, its “blind terrorism”, punishment measures, killings, burning, detention, displacement and Judaisation of Muslim and Christian holy sites.

In its meeting, which was held in Beirut, Lebanon, the Executive Committee of the AIPU renewed its adoption of the previous resolution relating to the importance of keeping the Palestinian issue on top of Arab agendas, as well as to support the Palestinian ambition to establish an independent state.

The AIPU condemned the Israeli killing of Palestinians, including women, elderly and children, noting that it is necessary to put pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop its crimes and aggression against Palestinians.

At the same time, the AIPU announced its support for the Palestinian Authority’s efforts on the international arena which have been gaining more international recognition for the Palestinian state. (T/nrz/r07)
