INDONESIAN ACTIVIST: ISIS IS ZIONIST PROPAGANDA AND INTELLIGENCE PRODUCTS
Jakarta, 22 Shawwal 1435/18 August 2014 (MINA) – Humanitarian activists, Agus Sudjatmiko said that extremist organization of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is a Zionist propaganda and product of Israeli intelligence for creating bad image of Islam and negative opinion about Islamic law.
Zionists created ISIS deliberately to create negative opinion on moral values of Islam, especially jihad and caliphate,” Agus said in discussion of Muslim Youth entitled “What’s Behind the ISIS” in Jakarta on Saturday.
The volunteer who have ever gone to Bosnia and Gaza said that one of ways for enemies of Islam to overcome Muslims was by controlling media and intelligence.
“There is evidence that MOSSAD (Israel’s foreign intelligence agency) has trained ISIS’s leaders for a year,” he said.
Meanwhile, another speaker, Zaenal Muttaqien said that ISIS has violated Islamic values . “Islam guarantees safety for all people including non-Muslims as long as they do not bother Islam,” said Zaenal.
The Chief editor of a national magazine warned Muslims to think smart. “Do not easily believe information directly and beware to enemies of Islam recruiting activists to kill each other,” he said.
He urged Muslims not to be reactive when there were social issues, especial ISIS. “We need complete information about it and remain calm. We must act with knowledge to avoid trap of intelligence,” he said again.
Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Jihad militant group are not recognized in Iraq and Syria. The ISIS is supported by group of Syrian rebels.
ISIS’ attacks target Shia Muslims and Christians. United Nations (UN) said that more than 2,400 Iraqis were killed, most of them were civilians in June 2014. Death toll of ISIS massacre is the worst of violence in Iraq in recent years.
Central figure behind the ISIS is Abu Bakar al-Baghdadi. Under his leadership, ISIS declared itself as sole affiliation of Al-Qaeda in Syria; However, Al-Qaeda does not recognize ISIS as part of their group again. (L/CR/P04/Syt/E01)
