AL-FATAH ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOLS SIGNS MOU WITH YEMEN EDUCATION FOUNDATION

Bogor, 29 Dzulqa’dah 1435/24 September 2014 (MINA) – Islamic boarding school of Al-Fatah, Indonesia signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Yemen Education Foundation, Rawaby Al-Kheer, to cooperate in education, especially in Arabic and Islamic Studies.

Director of Yemeni Education Foundation of Rawaby Al-Kheer, Sheikh Omer Bin Salim Bin Dban Bawazeer and Director of Islamic boarding schools of Al-Fatah Indonesia, KH. Yakhsyallah Mansur signed the MoU in Secretariat office of Al-Fatah Islamic boarding schools, Cileungsi, Bogor on Sunday afternoon (31 august).

“This cooperation is to follow up education program in order that students of Islamic boarding school of Al-Fatah can enter higher education institutions in Yemen,” one of Al-Fatah officials, Wahyudi told Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

Sheikh Omer stated students that have studied there were the best students with special values and good moral.

Wahyudi explained, the Al-Fatah would send at least five students for undergraduate program and two student for post-graduate program every year to Rawaby Al-Kheer Education Foundation.

Syeikh Omer Bin Salim said, the cooperation was to expand charity and development projects, particularly to prepare ulemas with deep understanding of Al- Qur’an and Sunnah. It was also to give chance for Indonesian students studying in Yemen.

Education Foundation of Rawaby Al-Kheer was founded in 2008. It is charitable foundation and help development projects in Muslim countries through establishing Al-Quran workshops and Islamic theology program.
Education Foundation of Rawaby Al-Kheer is working hard to maintain glory of Al-Quran and hadith. The foundation forms program of learning Al-Qur’an by heart, highlights Islamic heritages, spreads religion of Islam and guides students in various disciplines based on Islam.
