Jakarta, MINA – The 212 Reunion event series that took place at National Monument (Monas) Square on Monday started with Tahajud prayer, Istighosah, and Fajr prayer in congregation.
The participants from various regions have arrived since Sunday afternoon. Until 04:00 a.m, most of them wore white clothes continued to arrive at Monas.
The participants used various types of mats for prayers, such as newspapers, cardboard, plastic, and banners.
After the midnight prayer, then proceed with istighasah led by Buya Kurtubi from Banten then continued reading the verses of Al-Quran.

The event at the Monas Square is planned to take place until 11.30 a.m then the masses will move to the Istiqlal Mosque to pray Zuhur in the congregation.
Previously, head of public relations Polda Metro Jaya, Yusri Yunus revealed the 212 Reunion committee had committed to peacefully holding the event. He hope there were no undesirable events.
“We agreed to carry out activities peacefully, without something undesirable,” he told the media crew at Monas Square on Sunday. (T/Sj/P2)
