212 Reunion Participants Come from Domestic and Abroads

Jakarta, MINA – The 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA) held a 212 Reunion in the National Monument (Monas) Area, Central Jakarta on Monday, December 2. The event started at 3:00 a.m. until at 8:30 a.m. it began with Tahajud prayers, dhikr, Fajr prayers, until their mercy on Allah SWT.

The Chairman of PA 212 Slamet Maarif mentioned that there were a number of guests from abroad who attended the Prophet’s Birthday and the 212 Reunion. Slamet only stated that the guest came from a number of countries, without clearly mentioned them.

“Foreign guests arrived on Sunday in Jakarta and stayed at various hotels around Monas, at their respective costs,” said Slamet.

According to Slamet, guests from other countries will be assisted by the committee when leaving from the hotel to the Monas area. The guests will also be provided with a special place next to the main stage.

“So there will be a separate place for friends who are already coordinated by our team to be able to be on stage,” he said.

Based on the Daily News Indonesia report, there were participants from abroad who chartered planes and had rented hotels since last year, because they wanted to be present to feel the excitement of the rise of Islam.

“We have chartered SQ planes back and forth from New York,” said participants from Washington DC.

He said they were participants from abroad, such as Germany, Britain, Australia and various countries in Europe coordinating with each other to attend the 212 event this year.
