11 KILLED IN ATTACKS AROUND BAGHDAD
Baghdad, 26 Ramadan 1436/13 July 2015 (MINA) – According to Iraqi authorities at least 11 people were killed during bombings and a shooting in and around the capital, Baghdad.
Police says there were three roadside bombs explosions targeting military convoy southeast of Baghdad. The explosions killed four soldiers and wounded nine of them.
They say a bomb near an outdoor market killed two people in the town of Youssifiya just south of Baghdad. World Bulletin reports as quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).
In the northeastern suburbs of the capital, police say gunmen killed two people in a drive-by shooting.
In Rashidiya just north of Baghdad, they say a bomb exploded near a vegetable and fruit market, killing three people and wounding five.
Medical officials confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to journalists. (T/P002/R03)
