ZIONISTS USE FALSE PRETEXTS TO COMMIT GENOCIDE AGAINST PALESTINIANS
ZIONISTS USE FALSE PRETEXTS TO COMMIT BRUTAL PUNISHMENT AND GENOCIDE AGAINST PALESTINIANS
by Syarif Hidayat*
The Israeli occupation regime is resorting to false pretexts to launch fresh aggression against the Palestinian people, a political analyst tells Press TV. The Zionists have probably kidnapped and killed the three Jewish settlers’ boys: Naftali Fraenkel (16, from Nof Ayalon), Gilad Shaer (16, from Talmon), and Eyal Yifrah (19, from Elad) to get a pretext to punish the innocent Palestinians. The Zionist Israelis launched “Operation Brother’s Keeper” in West Bank and “Operation Protective Edge” to commit barbaric punishment and genocide against Palestinians.
Israel continues its offensive in the besieged Gaza Strip for the seventh consecutive day, killing nearly 190 people, according to Press TV reports. At least five people, including a four-year-old child, were killed in the latest Israeli airstrikes on Rafah and Khan Yunis on Monday (July 15, 2014). The latest incidents bring the death toll from the Israeli bombardment of the Palestinian territory to 187.
The number of fatalities has exceeded the figure for the 2012 conflict. Over 160 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and about 1,200 others were injured in Israel’s eight-day offensive on the coastal enclave, which ended on November 21, 2012. According to the United Nations, nearly 80 percent of the casualties in Gaza have been civilians.
Operation Brother’s Keeper, an Israeli Defense Forces operation in response to the 2014 kidnapping of Israeli teens. On 12 June 2014, three Israeli teenagers were kidnapped in Gush Etzion, in the West Bank, as they were hitchhiking to their homes. The Israel Defense Forces initiated Operation Brother’s Keeper in search of the three teenagers. IDF’s Nahal Brigade conducted a search in the Hebron area. As part of the operation, in the following 11 days Israel arrested around 350 Palestinians, including nearly all of Hamas’ West Bank leaders. Five Palestinians were killed during the military operation.
False pretext
On 15 June, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the teens had been kidnapped by Hamas, which Hamas denied. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas maintained that as of 22 June there was no evidence that Hamas was behind the kidnapping. Hamas praised the kidnapping, without claiming responsibility.
On 26 June, the Israel Security Agency released the identities of two suspects in the kidnapping, Hamas militants Marwan Kawasmeh and Amar Abu-Isa. Both ISA and Palestinian authorities said that the two men have been missing since the night of the kidnapping, and the ISA stated that both had engaged in terrorism, been arrested, and served time in the past, and were considered suspects immediately after the kidnapping. On 30 June, the Israeli military found the bodies of the three missing teenagers in a field north-west of Hebron. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed a tough response to the killings.
“This is a Zionist campaign to escalate the suppression of the Palestinian people and they are using every device they can to provoke a response to provide a further justification for a new and more drastic repression and invasion,” said Ralph Schoenman, author of Hidden History of Zionism from Berkeley, in an interview with Press TV. “You have to keep in mind that the fundamental character of the Zionist invasion and occupation of Palestine was the massacre of its people and the destruction of 475 towns and villages which were razed to the ground and reduced to rubble,” he noted.
He pointed to the recent kidnapping and killing of three Israeli teenagers by unknown elements that triggered Israel’s new aggressions across the occupied territories and said, “Every bit of the Israeli representation of this event is a lie.” The analyst noted that after the three boys were kidnapped, the Israeli police were informed through a phone call on June 12 that the teenagers were dead, but Tel Aviv pretended that the boys were still alive to provide the rationale for the new wave of aggression and invasion.
The Israeli regime stepped up raids on Palestinians as part of a search operation for three Israeli settlers it claimed had disappeared on June 12.
The settlers’ bodies were discovered in a field near the village of Hilhul, north of the city of al-Khalil, in the occupied West Bank on June 30. The Tel Aviv regime attacked the besieged Gaza Strip and areas in the West Bank hours after the bodies were found. Israel claims Palestinian resistance movement Hamas is responsible for the deaths, but Hamas rejects the allegation.
In what is believed to be a revenge attack for the three settlers, a 17-year-oil Palestinian teenager, Mohamed Abu Khdeir, was killed by Israeli settlers earlier this week. Israeli forces also shot dead a Palestinian teenager during a raid on the Jenin refugee camp in northern West Bank on July 1.
Zionists pursuing Nazi-style genocide in Palestine
“Operation Protective Edge” (Hebrew: מִבְצָע צוּק אֵיתָן, Mivtza’ Tzuk Eitan, literally “Operation Solid Cliff”) is an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) operation in the Hamas-governed Gaza Strip, launched on 8 July 2014. At least 148 Palestinians have been killed. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs estimated that 70 percent of those killed were civilians as of 12 July.
The Zionist regime of Israel is following in the footsteps of Hitler-era Nazis’ genocidal approach, an analyst writes for Press TV. “Zionist racism, like Nazi racism, is virulent to the point of being genocidal…. Just as the Nazis dedicated themselves to building an ever-expanding Reich free of the taint of lesser races, the Zionists are likewise bent on ethnically cleansing an ever larger slice of Palestine,” Kevin Barrett wrote in a column for the Press TV website.
The analyst’s comment comes as more than 16 Palestinians, including two children, are reported to have been killed and 80 others injured in a fresh spate of air attacks by the Israeli regime on the besieged Gaza Strip on Tuesday. Barrett said the Israeli regime’s continued air strikes against the Palestinians are reminiscent of “Nazi-style behavior.” “Zionism and Nazism have something else in common: racial superiority,” he wrote. The analyst added that Nazis and Zionists both believe themselves a “master race” or “chosen people.”
“The Nazis looked down on Jews, gypsies, Slavs, Arabs and Africans in exactly the same way that Zionists look down on Arabs (and goyim in general) today,” wrote Barrett. He described the Zionists as “new Nazis” seeking to trigger a “total war” in the world. The apartheid regime of Israel denies about 1.7 million people in Gaza their basic rights, such as freedom of movement, jobs that pay proper wages, and adequate healthcare and education.
Israel seeks to hide own genocidal nature
A political commentator says Israel’s recent aggression against the West Bank is aimed at deflecting the world’s attention from the “genocidal” nature of the Tel Aviv regime.“They always try to find a … motive that diverts attention from the murderous and genocidal and plunderous nature of the” Tel Aviv regime, Gilad Atzmon told Press TV. The political analyst described Israel as “the biggest threat to world peace”, saying the Israeli “lobby in America and Britain and France are actually very dangerous to their nation and to the people around them as well as the planet.”
He also said that the Israeli lobby has also been supporting terrorist groups, including Takfiri terrorists from the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), who are carrying out acts of terror and committing atrocities against the people in the region. “I think that the situation in Iraq and Syria is very grave, but we have to remember that just a year ago it was the Jewish lobby in America and Israel that pushed to send ammunition to support ISIS and all those very frightening organizations,” he said.
Since the announcement of the disappearance of three Israeli settlers on June 12, the Israeli regime has been conducting air raids on the besieged West Bank, allegedly as part of military search operations. On June 30, the bodies of the Israeli teenagers were found in a field near the village of Hilhul, north of the city of al-Khalil (Hebron) in the occupied West Bank, triggering a fresh surge of deadly violence against the Palestinians. The Tel Aviv regime claims the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, is responsible for the deaths. Hamas rejects the allegation.
Assault on West Bank and Gaza shows genocidal nature of Israel
Press TV has conducted an interview with Gilad Atzmon, a political commentator, from London, about the violent reaction by the Israeli PM and Israeli settlers to the confirmed deaths of three missing Israeli settlers.
The following is an approximate transcript of the interview.
Press TV: What is your reaction on how things have unfolded now after three weeks where we have the three settlers found dead and you have now a reaction coming – still not proven – but many deducting that extreme settlers were responsible for this? An Israeli police spokesman has said that the main direction right now that Israeli police is looking at is whether the incident was criminal or nationalistic.
Atzmon: Yes, I can imagine that this is what the Israelis would do when a Palestinian is murdered by Israelis, either military forces or just settlers.
They always try to find an outer motive that diverts attention from the murderous and genocidal and plunderous nature of the Jewish state.
I don’t like to talk about particularities – I think the situation on the ground is indeed grave – I like to understand how is it possible that the Jewish state that was supposed to launch a beautiful Jewish homecoming to celebrate the new Israelite and to solve the Jewish question managed only to move the Jewish question or the Jewish problem into a new place and this is a disaster.
I can’t decide whether I was amused or very sad to hear Richard (Richard Hellman, Press TV guest from Washington) a second ago trying to divert attention and make us look at Iraq and Syria. I think that the situation in Iraq and Syria is very grave, but we have to remember that just a year ago it was the Jewish lobby in America and Israel that pushed to send ammunition to support ISIS and all those very frightening organizations.
And I think that we have to start to take a broad look into this topic and to understand that Israel is the biggest threat to world peace and people like Richard and the Jewish lobby in America and Britain and France are actually very dangerous to their nation and to the people around them as well as the planet.
Press TV: Your reaction to Richard Hellman’s description of Israel as the only democracy in the Middle East and as a benefit to the world, if only its neighbors would stop wanting to destroy it.
Atzmon: I think calling Israel a democracy is slightly pathetic. I’ve heard it many times. I want to remind your viewers that in the ‘Israeli democracy’ half of the people living within Israeli-controlled territories are living in open-air prisons – Gaza is an open air prison and it’s not a state, it’s still under Israeli control as we know; the West Bank is an open air prison and when Israel feels like it – like in the last week – it enters the West Bank, it killed, it arrested. It’s not a democracy, it’s a Jewish democracy and in practice it is a terrorist state.
The fact that an American Jew, a Zionist mouthpiece is suggesting to us what should happen in Iraq or in Syria, this is slightly pathetic, but we have to get used to it. It is not down to an American Zionist Jew…
Press TV: Your reaction to Richard Hellman’s comments about Hamas and the Palestinian Authority governing the occupied territories and that they are part of the brutality throughout the Arab and Muslim world – in his words.
Atzmon: Let me correct you. The fact that Mahmoud Abbas is sitting in Ramallah doesn’t mean that he rules. You allow him to serve… you try to make him into… the guy that is policing the Palestinians on behalf of Israel. The PA or the West Bank is not a sovereign territory and this also applies to Gaza for the time being. The fact that Israeli Arabs are entitled to vote is right, but they cannot vote on Israel not entering their territories and this is what Israel did last week and put into action capital punishment; arrested 600 people; killed 12 Palestinians – we don’t even know their names. This is the real issue.
Press TV: Richard Hellamn talks of the independent judiciary and court system, which after investigation can determine who is guilty for the murders of the three Israeli teenagers and also the young Arab man killed allegedly as an act of revenge by Israeli settlers after Mr. Netanyahu’s war mongering speech. Your response?
Atzmon: It is very important to understand that the killing of the three Israelis and the retaliation of Israel is just part of the story. We are dealing with land that was robbed by a Jewish nationalist movement. It’s a plunderous movement. These stories about democracy are totally misleading. Millions of Palestinians are refugees, living in the region and overseas and the fact that three young Israelis were murdered a week ago – and by the way we don’t know who murdered them – It is more than possible that this was an Israeli false flag operation.
The MOSSAD motto is “By way of deception….”. For you (Richard Hellman) and the MOSSAD to lie is a strategy. Hellman: Under the Quran and bible, to kill one person is as bad as killing many 100,000 or a million persons, but there will be an Investigation in Israel…
ISLAM IS AGAINST TERRORISM AND KILLING!
“By God (Allah SWT), he is not a true believer, from whose mischief his neighbors do not feel secure.” – Prophet Mohammed PBUH – (Hadith written by Bukhari and Muslim)
ISLAM IS AGAINST KILLING – IN ISLAM, THE RIGHT TO LIFE IS AN ABSOLUTE VALUE!
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. “Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation (in legal punishment) of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidence, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allâh by committing the major sins) in the land!” – Al Qur’an, Surah Al-Maidah, Verse 32.
Atzmon: This has nothing to do with the the bible, it is the way you’re favorite government your “democratic Jewish democracy” interprets the bible and caused Israel’s MOSSAD to decide to pick the motto of “By way of deception…”. For you to lie, to kill your own people if it serves the tribal interest this is exactly what you believe in. This is exactly what you believe in and we see it time after time. (T/E01/IR)
