Tasikmalaya, MINA – Thousands of Santri (Students of Islamic Boarding School) in the City of Tasikmalaya celebrated Indonesian National Santri Day in Dadaha Field, Tasikmalaya, West Java on Tuesday, October 22.

Santri from hundreds of Islamic Boarding Schools held Santri parade to celebrate their great day.

Mayor of Tasikmalaya, Budi Budiman said the celebration of Santri Day this time was special because the Islamic Boarding Schools already had a legal umbrella of the Law.

According to him, the birth of the Islamic Boarding School Law will greatly assist in advancing educational institutions that have not been considered.
