aza, MINA – The Israeli forces on Monday pounded and destroyed a tunnel in central Gaza Strip, killing at least six Palestinians.
The six Palestinians were killed and nine others were injured, including one in a critical condition, by the Israeli bombing of the tunnel in Deir Al-Balah neighborhood, KUNA reported, citing the Spokesman of the Palestinian Health Ministry Ashraf Al-Qodwa in statement to reporters.
For its part, the Israeli army said its forces blew up a tunnel on the Gaza Strip border near the Israeli security fence. It also stressed that it has deployed anti-rocket Iron Dome batteries on the border with Gaza in anticipation of rockets firing from Gaza groups.
The Palestinian resistance groups have vowed to retaliate the Israeli attack.
