SAUDI ARABIA WON’T ALLOW TO TAMPER WITH ISLAMIC UNITY

Mina, 12 Dhulhijjah 1436/26 September 2015 (MINA) – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman said on Friday (25/9)  that Saudi Arabia won’t allow any hidden hand to tamper with the Arab and Islamic unity, and that the Kingdom would continue supporting the Arab and Muslim efforts for the prevalence of goodness and stability.

The King made the remarks while addressing leaders of the Islamic countries, senior Islamic dignitaries, heads of Haj missions and his guests, who came to perform Haj, during the annual reception at the Royal Palace in Mina, the Saudi Press Agency reported, according to International Islamic News Agency (IINA) reports received by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

While welcoming the Guests of God, the King said, “As Allah Almighty has honored us to serve the two holy mosques, and the pilgrims to the House of Allah, we  the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia – are dedicated to exert all our efforts and capabilities to ensure ease and comfort of Guests of God, as well as their security and safety.”

The King prayed Allah to grace the Arab and Islamic Ummah with security and stability, while wishing that peace would prevail paramount all over the world.

It is also my prayer that all pilgrims would return to their homes and families with peace of mind and joy, he added.

King Salman underscored that Islam is the religion of brotherhood, peace and compassion, justice and charity, and it is the religion that preaches a reform in life and build it accordingly.

“We have learned from our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) that the best people are those who use their hands, tongues and souls for the benefit of the people and treat them well, and that a Muslim is the one who doesn’t harm other Muslims by his tongue and his hand. We move and work on the basis of this guidance.”

The King said that Saudi Arabia is keen to play its regional and international role after taking into account of its Arab and Islamic responsibility.

In his speech Minister of Haj Bandar Hajjar greeted the guests and pilgrims.

He also explained the elaborate arrangements and meticulous services being extended by the government of Saudi Arabia for the Haj pilgrims.

Those who attended the reception included Maldives President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, Former President of Mali Dioncounda Traoré, Prime Minister of  Senegal Mohammed bin Abdullah John, First Vice President of Sudan Lt. Gen.

Bakri Hassan Salih, Assistant President of Egypt Ibrahim Mahlab, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim Abdullah Al-Jubouri, Indonesian House of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto and Niger Parliament Speaker Amadou Salifou. (T/Imt/R04)
