Saudi Arabia Reiterates Support for Palestinian Cause

Riyadh, MINA – Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Tuesday reiterated support for the Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to have their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

King Salman reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s position during a phone call with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the official SPA news agency reported.

King Salman said he would continue pushing for a just and lasting solution for the Palestinian cause in line with the UN resolutions.

Abbas thanked the Saudi Monarch for Saudi Arabia’s solid and historic support of the Palestinian people. (T/RS5/RS1)
