President Jokowi Installs 17 New Ambassadors
Jakarta, MINA – Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) installed 17 new Ambassadors of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) at the State Palace here on Tuesday.
Deputy for Administration and Apparatus Secretariat of State read the Presidential Decree on the Appointment of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, the ambassadors pronounced the oath accompanied by priests in a ceremony led by the President.
the new ambassadors are:
- Ade Padmo Sarwoni, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to ASEAN
- Arif Havas Oegroseno, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Germany
- Djauhari Oratmangun, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to China
- Hermono, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Spain concurrently United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)
- Hersindaru Arwityo Ibnu Wiwoho Wahyutomo, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Portugal
- Inspector General Iza Fadri, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Myanmar
- Inspector General M Amhar Azeth Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Moldova
- Marina Estella Anwar Bey, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Bolivia
- Muliaman Darmansyah Hadad, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Switzerland and Liechtenstein
- Niniek Kun Naryatie, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Argentina and Paraguay and Uruguay
- Des RP Pratito Soeharyo, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Laos
- Raden Mohammad Benyamin Scott Carnadi, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Fiji, Republic of Kiribari, Republic of Nauru and Tuvalu
- Rossalis Rusman Adenan, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Sudan concurrently Eritrea
- Sinyo Harry Sarundajang, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Philippines concurrently the Marshall Islands and the Republic of Palau
- Sudirman Haseng, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Cambodia
- Sudjatmiko, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam
- Todung Mulya Lubis, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Norway concurrently Iceland.
Among the new ambassadors, there are career diplomats such as Ade Padmo Sarwono, Arif Havas Oegroseno, Djauhari Oratmangun, and Hersindaru Arwityo and former Chairman of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Muliaman D Hadad, advocates and human rights activist Todung Mulya Lubis and former Governor of North Sulawesi Sinyo Harry Sarundajang.
