Palestinian Gov’t in Gaza Releases 4th Batch of Kuwaiti Donation

Gaza, 20 Safar 1438/20 November 2016 (MINA) – The Palestinian unity government in the Gaza Strip released Saturday the fourth batch of Kuwaiti donations, which amounted to USD 16 million.

According to the national reconstruction bureau, the current sum, dedicated to those affected by the Israeli aggression on Gaza in 2014, will cover rebuilding expenses of many who dwelled there.

The fifth batch, which amounts to USD 6 million, will be cashed soon, Kuna guoted the bureau as saying.

Some USD 49 million, of the USD 200 million Kuwaiti donation, had been delivered to the Gaza Strip.

13,000 families in Gaza still displaced two years after war with Israel.

Delays in international aid are partly to blame.
