Pakistani Ambassador Appreciates Indonesian Ulema’s Support for Kashmir

Jakarta, MINA – Pakistan’s Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E Abdul Salik Khan appreciated the support of Indonesian ulema for the solution to the Kashmir crisis.

This was conveyed by Ambassador Salik Khan when he received a visit from the delegation of Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) led by Imaam Yakhsyallah Mansur at the Pakistani Embassy in Jakarta, Tuesday (11/19).

“The relationship between Indonesia and Pakistan have existed for a long time, during the Asian-African conference in 1955. Pakistan and Indonesia became one of the initiators. Until now the relationship has been maintained and harmonious, “Ambassador Salik Khan said.

Salik Khan also underlined the support of the Government of Indonesia in seeking a peaceful solution to the Kashmir crisis that has long been happening and up to now there has not been yet achieving peace.

Indonesia also played an important role in the dialogue efforts of the scholars from Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Taliban to reach a peaceful solution in the region.

Meanwhile, Imaam Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) Yakhsyallah Mansur said, he wanted to contribute positively to the peace efforts in Kashmir because of Ukhuwah Islamiyah (Brotherhood among fellow Muslims).

Yakhsyallah also asserted Islam is a religion that spreads peace because Islam’s mission is rahmatan lil alamin (mercy for the universe).

“The blessing of Islam is not only felt by Muslims, but also for Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, and others. Even animals and plants must also feel the grace of Islam. That’s what Allah ordered and the Prophet Muhammad taught, ” he explained.

The visit to Pakistan’s embassy is a follow-up of the visit of Imaam Yakhsyallah Mansur with the Asean clerics to Pakistan in early November in order to help find the best solution for the peace of the Kashmir crisis. (L /P2/R04)
