Jeddah, MINA – Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned Sunday the Houthis’ Iranian-made ballistic missile attack on Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh, last December 19, KUNA reported.

The foreign ministers, meeting in Jeddah at behest of Saudi Arabia, condemned Iran’s violations of OIC’s November 2016 meeting and relevant UN Security Council resolutions by supplying the Houthi militias with weapons and ballistic missiles.

They also denounced Iran’s interference in countries in the region, urging Tehran to “stop the policies that foment sectarian conflicts, and to stop the funding of terrorist groups.”

The top diplomats, in a statement after their meeting, voiced full support for Saudi Arabia’s counter-terrorism efforts with the objectives of preserving security and stability of the Kingdom.
