“The Batik shirt has been sent from the Presidential Palace, and it might replace the white shirt that is currently worn by the presidents statue in the museum,” Consulate General of Indonesia Tri Tharyat in Macau stated on Wednesday.

Other than that, the LED screen installed behind the presidents wax statue can also exhibit a number of seeded tourism spots in Indonesia.

The screen itself had been installed since Jokowis visit to the museum, at the Peak Tower complex, back on May 1.

During the summer break season, much like today, the museum receives dozens of visitors from the day until night.

Indonesian visitors, however, can pay half of the fee to enter the museum by simply showing a coupon they can obtain from the Indonesian Consulate General in Hong Kong.

“Ever since the instalment of Jokowis statue, the museum has received more and more visitors from Indonesia,” Tharyat revealed.

Jokowis statue is reportedly the only one in the museum that depicts an incumbent leader of an ASEAN member country.
