Israeli Settlers Ban Relief Trucks Crossing to Gaza

GAZA, MINA – Israeli settlers on Sunday banned releif truck that bring primary needs and fuel crossing to Gaza Strip through Karm Abu Salem border.

“There are dozen of settlers blocked the main road leading to the Karm Abu Salem, stoping the trucks which carrying merchandise, food, fuel, gas and building materials to the Gaza Strip,” WAFA correspondent reported.

The hundreds of trucks are still waiting to get out of the situation, but they have not succeeded to date.

The drivers reportedly honking their trucks in protest at the roadblocks by settlers.

Karm Abu Salem is commercial border crossing that the only one can access to Gaza’s which is allocated for the entry of humanitarian goods, which are very much needed such as food, fuel, gas and building materials to Gaza.

The closure will further aggravate the humanitarian crisis caused by the 12-year blockade of Israel in Gaza. (T/Sj/RS5)
