Jerusalem, MINA – Israeli police raided East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiyeh to confiscate Palestinian flags and struggle factions.
Local sources confirmed that Israeli police stormed Issawiyeh and took down Palestinian flags and flags of Palestinian factions that were held on electric poles and walls.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center, a supervisor based in Silwan, posted a video showing the seizure of the flag. Wafa reported on Wednesday July 17.
The seizure took place less than three weeks after Israeli police killed a citizen, identified as Mohammad Samir Obeid (20) in a confrontation.

Issawiyeh, Palestinian village with a population of around 20,000 people, parts of East Jerusalem, military attacks and demolition of buildings is a daily reality.
The village was disturbed by poor infrastructure, residents were constantly pressured by Israeli Border Police. Children also run the risk of arbitrary arrest. (T/Sj/P2)
