Bethlehem, 5 Jumadal Awwal 1436/24 February 2015 (MINA) – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday (24/2) killed a Palestinian young man during violent clashes in al-Doheisheh refugee camp near Bethlehem city.
Local sources told SAFA news agency that 19-year-old Jihad al-Jaafari died of a serious bullet injury after Israeli troops stormed the camp and clashed with young men, Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
The sources said the IOF entered the camp to carry out an arrest campaign, which triggered confrontations with angry young men.
They added that an Israeli soldier fired live ammunition at Jaafari during his presence on the rooftop of his house, noting that the troops obstructed the entry of ambulances to the neighborhood to swiftly evacuate him.
