Indonesian Muslim 212 Mujahid Action to Hold Grand Reunion
Jakarta, MINA – Indonesian Muslim 212 Mujahid Action is going to hold a Grand Reunion on Monday, December 2 at the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta, starting with the midnight prayer in congregation, as a day of brotherhood of Indonesian Muslims.
It was stated by Chairman of the Steering Committee (SC) Yusuf Muhammad Martak during a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday.
“At the same time as the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, Muslims were united in one spirit, namely the spirit of ukhuwah Islamiyah and ukhuwah watoniah with the spirit to always unite, strengthen Ghirah and Ukhuwah Islamiyah in the frame of Bela Tauhid, Bela NKRI,” he said.
He also said that the 212 Mujahid Reunion was not just a show of strength and not a show of dashing.
“We gather in one moment, in one meeting point, for Munajad, pray with the accompaniment of dhikr to Allah Subahana wa ta’ala, pleading to the Almighty to always provide protection to the people of Indonesia, keep this country so that always safe, peaceful, and prosperous, “said Martak.
He also said that the ulama who always guard the integrity of Unitary Republic of Indonesia, a country that stood upright to the struggle of ulama and people against colonialism.
“So, ulama together with the people will continue to maintain the spirit of jihad and the spirit of keeping Indonesia free from the threat of new-style colonialism,” he said.
“This grand reunion will begin with the midnight prayer and then the morning prayer, commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad and mercy to Allah SWT. Lord willing, we will end the program in the morning, “he added.
He invited the Ummah to whitewash Monas hopefully in the protection of Allah Subahana Wa Ta’alah, for salvation until the return of Habib Rizieq Shihab to his beloved homeland after quite a long time ‘alienated’ in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
“We welcome the return and presence of Habib Rizieq Shihab in our midst,” he said. (T/Sj/P2)
