INDONESIAN GOVERMENT ASKS ITS PEOPLE TO HAVE KNOWLEDGE IN PILGRIMS

Jakarta, 24 Dzulqa’dah 1436/8 September 2015 (MINA) – The Government of Indonesia asked its people to have knowledge in worship during the performance of Hajj and Umrah in the Holly Land. A Hajj performers need to have basic khowledge worship to reach a satisfaction in their worship.

“With an enough knowledge in worship, they certainly get satisfaction,” said the Head of Guidance team Religious Ministry, Ali Rokhmad, Monday (7/9), as received by Mi ‘raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

Ali also urged pilgrims not to depend on government’s guidance. The good hajj performer should not depend on any parties, so they could perform worship by themselves.

” To have knowledge in hajj, worshipers may follow the government’s guidance or any private guidance. So, when conducting worship in the holy land. they are ready by themselves, Ali asserted.

More than two million Muslims stand in one place, wearing the same simple clothing, following the same rituals, and saying the same words. They are united in their devotion to God. The black man stands next to the white man, and they call on God with one voice. The king stands beside the pauper, and they declare their submission to the will of God using the same words.

Muslims from every corner of the globe are united in their submission to the will of God. They cry out as if with one voice, “Here I am O God, here I am at your service, and You have no partner. Here I am. All praise, grace, and dominion belong to you. You have no partner.”

This supplication is said repeatedly by the pilgrims. It is their answer to God’s call for the Muslims to perform Hajj. These words are repeated with joy and reverence by all, regardless of status or class.(L/P008/R03)
