Indonesia Will Have Halal Park

Jakarta, MINA – The Halal Product Foundation along with PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP) has had a plan to build the First Halal Park (halal industrial park) in Indonesia in an effort to establish a halal product development center

Sitta Rosdaniah, PT JIEP Financial and Supporting Director, said that preparations have been made towards the realization of the plan in the near future.

“We have prepared places, land, buildings and are ready to work under the halal ecosystem to build a halal park and a laboratories for the development of halal products,” ” Sitta told the Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) on the sidelines of the International Conference on Halal and the Community in Asia Pacific (The 1st International Conference & Expo on Halal, State, and Society in Asia Pacific / ICE-HASSAP 2017) in Jakarta, Saturday (21/10).

She said the center of this industry, which is in Pulogadung Region and will be a storefront window for halal industry, invites Halal activists to join.

“We invite the halal businessmen to come to our place to jointly create halal ecosystem, including the media, in this case MINA,” she said.

Sitta said the Halal Park will not only be built in Pulogadung, “It’s just an initiative, and I’m sure because Indonesia is a big country. if later we have built one, in the future the center of this kind industry will develop in several locations.”

She asserted that the plan, initiated by PT JIEP, is an Indonesian movement for blessing for the universe, or rahmatan lil ‘alamin.L/R04/RS5)
