INDONESIA VOLUNTEERS BUILD GUESTHOUSE IN GAZA

Gaza, 29 Muharram 1436/22 November 2014 (MINA) – An Indonesia Humanitarian Medical Emergency Rescue- Commettee (MER-C) is building Indonesian Guesthouse (Wisma Indonesia) for the first time in Gaza Strip after finishing the phisical building of Indonesia Hospital.

The Wisma Indonesia would be used as a residence for Indonesia people, especially the medical team who will visit Gaza and the hospital.

” We are now in the finishing time of Wisma Indonesia. The building will be used as a shelter for guests from Indonesia, such as doctors or other medical team who will visit Gaza,” said MER-C engineer in Gaza, Edy Wahyudi.

“ Praise be only to Allah, the main building and electrical installation almoest finish”, Edy told Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) correspondent in Gaza.

According to Edy, the heavy duty which is currently done by MER-C team in Gaza is the supplying of medical equipment for the Indonesia Hospital. It need more time.

At least 20 MER-C volunteers who are working in Gaza right now. The both building are located in Bait Lahiya, northern Gaza Strip.

The Indonesia Hospital began to be built since the mid-2011 ago. It has entered the final stage with the progress nearly reaches 100 percent.

The Indonesia Hospital building was initiated by MER-C foundation and the fund come from Indonesian people from various regions. It is expected to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian people in Gaza.(L/P009/R03)
