Indonesia-Pakistan Military Cooperation Keep Continue
Jakarta, 19 Rabi’ul Awwal 1438/19 December 2016 (MINA) – Pakistan’s Ambassador to Indonesia Mohammad Aqil Nadeem has said that defense cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia continue to increase, marked by mutual help in dealing with any problems that arise in their respective institutions.
The ambassador made the remarks on his speech commemorating the 51st Pakistan Defense Day here Monday (19/12) night.
Nadeem said the two countries have also signed the defense cooperation agreement. The countries have recently held Navy to Navy Expert Talks as well.
“Pakistan has also participated in the Komodo Naval Exercise in April 2016.” he said.
The Pakistan Air Force has been operating four CN-235s and showed interest with the MSA/MPA/ASW (Maritime Surveillance/ Maritime Patrol Aircraft/ Anti-Submarine Warfare) models of the CN235-220.from Indonesia, with routine repair and maintenance services carried out by Indonesian technicians” he added..
He said, Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu is slated to visit Pakistan in the coming months in an effort to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
Pakistan celebrates the defense day every year to commemorate the success of the country in maintaining its integrity and sovereignity, mainly on the border areas, against foreign aggression and also as a form of unity in defending the country..(L/R04/R07)
