INDONESIA BREBES REGENCY BUDGETS FOUR BILION RUPIAHS FOR QORAN TEACHERS SALARIES

Brebes, 20 Dzulhijjah 1435/14 Oktober 2014 (MINA) – As many as 8,000 Qoran teachers in Brebes regency, Central Java province received financial assistance from the local Government.
Each Qoran teacher (java: guru ngaji) received a grant of Rp. 500 thousand, So, the total budget, 4 billion.
The Regent, Idza Priyanti said, the goverment is very grateful to the teachers of the Koran that had been meritorious in building the spiritual intelegence of the next generation with Qoran. So far, they have been a tutor in mosques based on sincere intentions, without expecting reward.
“Because of their sincerity, the government gives an attention to them. We give stimulant funds for the teacher of the Koran, ” Idza Priyanti said when giving symbolic aid in the cityhall.
The regent explained that this relief as the realization of the six pillars of local government programs. The budget is a prove the the government cares the teacher of the Koran as a counterweight between physical and spiritual development.
Last year, the government gave assistance to assistance to 5,000 teachers, while in 2014 it raised to 8,000 teachers.
Each teacher received Rp 500,000 per year. The teachers who received the salaries based on the proposal from each village.(T/P007/R03)
