HANNEYA: POPULAR SUPPORT FOILS INCITEMENT AGAINST HAMAS

Gaza, 8 Rabi’ul Akhir 1436/29 January 2015 (MINA) – The deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya said that popular support for his group and its armed wing Al-Qassam Brigades will foil all smear campaigns.

Haneyya’s remarks came during the graduation ceremony of “Vanguards of the Liberation”, a military training camp for youths organized by al-Qassam Brigades, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Haneyya pointed to the suspicious attempts to target the Palestinian resistance’s popular support through aggression, siege, and incitement.

“Vanguards of the Liberation” is a strategic project to prepare the generation of victory and liberation, he added, saying that resisting the occupation has become a phenomenon in each and every Palestinian home.

“Resistance is no longer an option for any group, but rather became a culture for our youths.”

Al-Qassam Brigades announced on January 20 that it opened up registration for military training camps for youths aged between 15 and 25 throughout the Gaza Strip. (T/P011/R03)
