Cairo, 14 Dhulqa’dah 1436/29 August 2015 (MINA) – Egypt welcomed the signing of a peace deal in Addis Ababa between sudan/">South Sudan government and opposition on Wednesday.
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday urged all south Sudanese parties and sponsors of the agreement to deal carefully and with interest with the reservations raised by some quarters on the deal items.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid stressed the importance of the political will of the signatories to achieve peace and stability, The Information Centre of Egypt quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
