Banda Aceh, 15 Rabiul Awwal 1437/26 December 2015 (MINA) – The Department of Islamic Sharia of Indonesia Aceh province gave reward for local leaders and press agencies that are supporting the implementation of Islamic law in Aceh continuously.

The Head of Islamic Sharia Department, Syahrizal Abbas said, the “Syariah Award” was given through a long process and considered various aspects.  Serambi Indonesia reported as quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

Syahrizal also expressed his grateful to local state employees in public institutions as well as groups in the border areas in socializing Islamic law based on its functions.

Syahrizal urged all people of Aceh to continue supporting the implementation of Islamic law. So, people are not easily affected by foreign culture which can damage the faith generation.

Meanwhile, the governor of Aceh, Zaini Abdullah, represented by the deputy Hasan Azhari said, Aceh government is very seriously implementing the Islamic Sharia. So, the support of all parties is needed.

The Governor also called on people of Aceh to make Islamic Sharia as a foundation in daily life. He said, all banka in Aceh will appy sharia system, so that in the future,it will be a model that can be used as a reference nationally.

In the event was also followed by the launching of the book and website about Dissemination of Islamic Law. (L/R03/R04)
