World Peace Declaration Agreed in South Korea

Seoul, 5 Jumadil Akhir 1437/14 March 2016 (MINA) – A  Declaration on the Cessation of War and World Peace Achievement which was attended by thousands of international figures was held at the COEX Auditorium in Seoul, South Korea, Monday (14/3).

The Chairman of World Culture Heavenly Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL), Man Hee Lee,  in his speech said that the event will mark a history as those international officials gathered in the declaration to urge new era of peace and ended every kind of wars.

“We are gathered here today, at this time in this place and will never be forgotten in the history of mankind to the  Declaration on Cessation of War and Peace Achievement of the World,” he said as quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

The declaration discussed   threats or use of forces; wars; and dispute settlements; freedom of religion; spreading a culture of peace. The Declaration is a powerful and ground-breaking tool to dispose of all means that initiate war and armed conflicts, thus further attaining humanity’s fundamental goal, peace.

“It aims at achieving peace and end up wars, we shared together, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence, in every holy books has taught us,” he added.

The Declaration was signed by  International Law Committees of few countries such as Ali Abu Diak, Minister of Justice of the State of Palestine, Alice Chaptini, Minister of Justice in Lebanon, H.E. Lex Mpati, President of the South African Apeal Supreme Court).

In the end, Man Hee Lee said, “Peace will create a better world.”

Indonesian Important Stand on World Peace

The live-streaming meeting also broadcasted  in several places in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Medan, and Makassar.

One of them was held at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah in  Jakarta. The event was attended by some of the students and local communities welcomed the declaration demanding the end of war  to achieve the peace.

Aura Kim, HWPL WARP Office Program Coordinator said that it  the way this is broadcasted in Indonesia  is to show up globally that such declaration is very important.

“Yes, we want everyone to know that this is important, we have to broadcast it in Jakara, Medan, and Makassar that world peace idea is realized,” she said. (L/M09/R03/R04)
