Dakar, 13 Dzulhijjah 1437/15 September 2016 (MINA) – Under the supervision of Ambassador Mohammed Salem Al Rashedi, the UAE Embassy in Dakar ensured the distribution of Eid Al Adha sacrificial meat in five African countries, namely, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Mali and Cape Verde.
The programme was funded by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority (ERC), Dubai Charity Association and Sharjah Charity International.
From Bucharest WAM reported that the UAE Embassy to Romania has implemented the distribution of the Eid Al Adha meat, funded by Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), in co-ordination with Muslim societies.
The embassy distributed the meat to the poor Muslim families and refugees in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, and the coastal Constanta city inhabited by the minority Muslim community.

The move follows the tolerant Islamic teachings and reflects solidarity with the Muslim community in Romania. (T/R07/R01)
