The IBF Organizer Cooperates With Various Parties to Make IBF a Vibrant Exhibition
Jakarta, MINA – Ahead of the Islamic Book Fair (IBF) 2018, the organizer continues to explore and cooperate with a number of parties to make the fair a success, ranging from mass media, government agencies, private institutions to banking community and others.
“For the media, we have established cooperation with Republika Groups as official media partner. There are also from MNC Groups, online media, and television and radio,” said the Chairman of IBF Organizing Committee Anis Baswedan M, in Jakarta, Wednesday (17/01).
According to him, the IBF promotion and publication team also continues to explore and collaborate with government agencies that oversee the promotion and publication of IBF. Among other things, the Office of Filing and the Library of DKI, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud), the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), the Office of Taxation and Retribution, as well as other institutions, both from DKI Jakarta and central government.
“There is already a MoU, some are still on process,” he explained.
He said the cooperation and partnership for the book festivities is aimed at making it easier for the public to know about the IBF 2018 that will take place on 18-22 April 2018 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
“The more parties that work together in the upcoming book fair, of course it will get better,” he said.
The participants who joined the Islamic Book Fair around 300 exhibitors, including publishers and multiproduct producers, while visitors are estimated to reach 200 thousand people.
“Although the implementation of IBF 2018 is only five days, the enthusiasm of visitors is very huge. What about transactions? “Certainly could reach hundreds of billions,” he added.(L/R04/RS5)
